North Georgia Wedding || Amy+Matt

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! On black Friday I thought it would only be appropriate to show one of my all time favorite couples wedding day. So, while you are standing in line in a store filled with tons of shoppers, you all will have something so pretty to look at.

When Amy and I first met at our initial consultation it was like meeting an old friend, we talked for hours. I learned early in our talk that Amy was an artist as well, so the discussions of creative process and inspiration made way more sense at that point. Amy is a very successful painter with an incredibly unique and intriguing style. Finding clients that appreciate both of those things, creative process and inspiration, is like finding a unicorn. When you do find them, it’s inevitable that your work will thrive in that kind of atmosphere.

Once we decided we were destined to work together, we scheduled the engagement session. Meeting Matt for the first time was also just as great as meeting Amy.  Matt has a deep love for animals, they both do. Meeting this big man who works for the United States Air Force for the first time and finding out his soft spot is for animals…I mean what is better than that? For those who know me, know I too have a weakness for furry friends, so it truly was like this couple was my perfect couple.

Needless to say, the engagement session was a hit and I could NOT wait for this wedding day to come.

Once it arrived, it was like Christmas day! I couldn’t wait to see them both! The weather was perfect… A nice breeze blew across the farm, as if to make sure Amy ‘s dress blew perfectly. Every single detail was perfect and thought out so well. Amy showed off her amazing style by wearing a custom light blue gown that was as delicate and beautiful as she was.  Not only was the couple so happy and excited but their families were over the moon. It was a day filled with so much love for these two, it was truly remarkable.

Of course, they got married in place with the most adorable animals.  I mean, the goats were a hit! If you needed to find Matt, he was down playing with the animals, I loved it!

I cannot thank you both enough for trusting me with capturing your journey. It was such an honor to work with you both and I hope you enjoy and love these as much as I do. Best wishes to you both and I cannot wait to see where this life takes you guys!
