They say home is where the heart is…boy are they right!

It’s funny because when I meet people and tell them about where Frank and I live, they always say “Oh did you and your husband grow up on a farm?” “No” I tell them, as they look at me in shock! “Well, why did you decide to move there?”, they ask.  That is a pretty loaded question, I prepare them, and depending on which day you ask me, I will most likely give you a different answer (depending on how tired I was from herding sheep…on foot, or how many ice buckets I had broken that day, and how dirty my house is due to the 1,000 animals we own.).

But today is a day that I can sit here and soak in this beautiful place and more importantly the lives that live here.

Having a farm, Yes, is a lot of work.  But I have to say..or that someone like really cool said one time “Hard work never hurt anybody” (shoutout  Coach V) and every minute we put into this place, the better and better it gets.  I feel so lucky. So lucky to be so young and have everything that I dreamed of as a little girl.  Not only do I have it but I have it with the greatest human ever…so it’s pretty cool.

I hope you all enjoy all of out sweet fur babies here and I hope that you all have the same feeling in your lives.  That you are exactly where you are suppose to be, and if you’re not, I pray that you will find it! It’s magical!
